Food and Water Storage made easy

Food and Water Storage made easy

Having food and water in times of need is critical. But the big question is, How much food and water do I need? And how long will it last me? A day? A week? What if I have a spouse and children? How much do they need? All those are important and overwhelming questions. I have a PDF download for you at the end of this article to make it super easy for you. But before you go, lets talk about a few tips and concerns.

In my opinion, everyone should be storing some food and water for a rainy day. Its a peace of mind that's worth way more than it cost should a time of need arise. When storing your food and water be sure to have it in a dry climate where the temperature is not too hot or too cold.  This will ensure the food and water will actually last as long as it says it will. That would be horrible to need it and it be ruined from improper storage.

Special needs and vitamins. Calories alone are nice but our bodies need vitamins and other nutrients. With that being said its always important be stocking some extra multivitamins and other supplements your body may need. I really like the dry food from Nutrient Survival. They are a little pricy compared to others, but in my opinion are well worth it. I will include my affiliate link to them below also, but please don't feel obligated to use them unless you want too. Either route you choose, I just wanted you to be aware and prepared. Store the vitamins along with your food.

Last but not least! Allergies. Some folks can't eat everything on the menu like others (like peanut allergies or fiber deficiencies). Its very important to take in account these members of the family and have their own place for their food so nobody else accidently consumes it. Special foods like these will become near impossible to get in a natural or manmade disaster so having these family members taken care of is critical. Start storing these foods NOW!

I hope this finds you well and helps you on your water and food goals. Remember to store food that your family enjoys to keep moral as high as possible and to pay attention to the expiration dates so nothing goes to waste. This is an important topic to me because I never want a day to come where my children look at me and say "Daddy I'm hungry". With the fear of that happening is what has been a driving factor for me in being the most prepared as I can. I hope this helps. God bless brothers and sisters.
